Leyton Orient head coach Richie Wellens believes March will be a defiant period in their season as they travel away to face Bradford City in League One.
The O’s are battling against relegation and currently sit 21st in the league, one point below the drop zone.
Orient are currently going through a difficult patch and have only won once in their last 12 league games, a comfortable 3-1 home win against Reading in January.
Their match against Bradford City will be the first of six games in March as they plan carefully on how to cope during this busy period.
Speaking at his weekly pre match press conference Wellens said:” I think March will be a defiant month because we play a lot of important games during this period. It will be very difficult to plan. We’re not a Premier League club where you will have 30 odd players to choose from.”
“But with the number of injuries that we have it is very difficult to plan. So, the Bradford game we will do our best in it and the move on to the Stevenage game.”
Wellens also praised his opposite number Graham Alexander for what he has achieved this season. Bradford City are currently sitting fourth in the table and chasing promotion.
Wellens added: “Bradford is a sleeping club in my opinion. They are a Championship club in my opinion. They are a hugh football club. A big city and a big stadium.”
“When you got momentum with 20 odd thousand cheering you on then that could be an advantage.”
After winning the reverse fixture 2-1 in December, Leyton Orient will be looking to complete a first league double over Bradford City since the 1969-70 season.
Orient have lost each of their last four away league games against sides from Yorkshire, last enduring a longer losing run in the county in the EFL between January 1994 and April 1997 (13 losses).
Bradford City have lost just one of their last 13 home league games against Leyton Orient (W7 D5), a 2-0 defeat at Valley Parade in April 2007.
