Frustration is the buzzword at the Matchroom Stadium.
The side is starting to gel, Dean Cox is relishing his free role, but we are still looking up at the rest of the table.
Just what do we have to do to win a football match?
Last weekend, we absolutely battered Huddersfield Town. We can take some positives from that performance, but not the 2-1 home defeat.
Once again, we conceded a couple of soft goals.
Cox’s wonder strike was scant consolation from a game in which we more than matched a side with a Championship-sized budget.
Just as bad was that our left-back injury hoodoo has struck again.
Our brand-new loan man Peter Frampton looked good, until he got injured.
Now, we have a month of extremely difficult games ahead.
We need to cut out these defensive gaffes. If we don’t, it’s going to be another long season.
