Harry Redknapp could be without a number of first team stars as Spurs prepare to welcome Chelsea to White Hart Lane.

Gareth Bale missed the weekend victory over Sunderland and has not been able to train since, while Aaron Lennon will definitely miss the clash with the Blues.

Redknapp could also be without Jermain Defoe and Ledley King, while Emmanuel Adebayor missed training today with a foot injury, although the manager was more confident the Manchester City loanee could be available.

“Gareth’s struggling at the moment,” Redknapp told the club’s official website.

“He hasn’t been able to train. He’s very doubtful.

“It normally takes six or seven days for Ledley’s knee to go down, so we’ll have to wait and see how it is today and tomorrow. He’ll be 50-50 at best I would imagine.”

The Spurs boss will however, have Younes Kaboul available again after the defender served a one-match suspension following his dismissal at Stoke.

The White Hart Lane side bounced back from defeat in the Potteries to post three points at the weekend and will be looking to make it back-to-back victories when the Blues visit.

Chelsea will want to put their draw with Wigan behind them but come into the game having not beaten Spurs away from home in the league in six years.
