Wanstead and Snaresbrook earned a three-wicket win over Brentwood in the Essex Premier Division.

Brentwood were put into bat and declared on 252 for six. Rehan Hassan took three for 83. Wanstead responded strongly with John Chambers top scoring on 82.

Hassan chipped in with 52 before Adnan Akran scored an unbeaten 63. This steered them to the target for the loss of seven wickets in 54 overs.

South Woodford were fortunate to hold out for a draw against Chelmsford.
Woodford opted to bowl first and restricted their rivals to 182 for nine. Jake McMullen was in superb form as he picked up five for 46 and Nick Browne also impressed taking three for 49.

South Wood's response was patchy and they were in deep trouble before somehow surviving on 151 for nine. Openers Browne (29) and Asher Gilani (27) made reasonable starts but then they were left with Harry Shirt's 26 before an uphill battle to avoid defeat.

Woodford Wells had to work extremely hard to salvage a draw from their clash with Shenfield.

The team won the toss and chose to bowl first. Shenfield reached 217 for nine with Tom Clark faring best taking three for 67.

In reply, Hassan Chowdhury hit 44 and Rehan Iqbal scored 51. Rishabh Shah struck 40 but Woodford Wells were on the brink of defeat finishing up on 182 for nine.

In Division One, Loughton beat Hadleigh & Thundersley by 95 runs.
Hamza Ahmed hit 87 for Loughton while an unbeaten 71 from Hafiz Yawar Afzal helped them declare impressively on 246 for four.

Hadleigh found their response very difficult and it was no surprise when they were dismissed for 151 in 35.1 overs. Salim Akbar took four for 29 and Bilal Butt also finished with four for 45.

Fives and Heronians eased to a seven-wicket win over Hornchurch.
Ryan Cunningham (four for 67) and Andrew Clarke (four for 52) both caused real damage and helped restrict Hornchurch to 194 for nine.

An unbeaten 82 from Clarke led the way and Pete Kilpatrick's score of 41 helped Fives reach the target with seven wickets in hand after 40.4 overs. 
Chingford were lucky to avoid defeat in their draw with Orsett.

After winning the toss, Chingford struggled to limit Orsett to 265 for eight. Ali Aamir fared best with the ball taking four for 59.

Shahbaz Butt struck 39 but it was hard work for the rest of the side and they were relieved to survive on a lowly 128 for eight from their innings.

In Division Three, Epping cruised to a nine-wicket win over West Essex.
The decision to bat first backfired for West Essex as they crumbled to 89 all out. Only Dan Footman made any impression with 20 while Baqar Ali was in destructive form taking six for 34.

Epping were in total control and only needed 31.2 overs to reach the target for the loss of one wicket as Marc Meyer-Webb hit 35 not out.
Woodford Green romped to an eight-wicket victory over Old Brentwoods.

A brilliant performance from Chris Masters, taking six for 58, helped dismiss Brentwoods for 230. Batsman Nadir Rasheed was in top nick for Woodford Green as his unbeaten 117 guided them to a confortable win in 37 overs.
Old Parkonians had to settle for a draw from their tight encounter against Hutton.

Parkonians opted to bowl first and restricted their opponents to 158 for nine. Rizwan Sadiq impressed picking up four wickets for 36.

Opener Jibran Azam top scored for Old Parkonians hitting 38 and Ejaz Khan added 29. The side only needed a single to win but they came up frustatingly short on 158 for eight.
