WE were happy to stay in the FA Cup at Torquay on Saturday, but we could have done with getting the tie sorted on the day.

We have got a very busy December now with the replay on Tuesday but the chance to face Southampton in the next round at home will certainly give us the motivation to try and get past Torquay.

It was also frustrating against Bradford, because we dominated the first half but didn't convert the chances we created, while they had two clear cut opportunities and put both of them away.

We have now got to lift ourselves for the game with Huddersfield on Saturday. Having only managed a 0-0 draw with Millwall on Tuesday, they remain one of the sides down there in the table that we need to start catching up. Hopefully we can win and lift the camp going into what looks a crazy amount of games leading up to the end of the year.

We are a little worried about a couple of our younger lads, because they certainly don't seem the sharpest tools in the box.

Young Jason Demetriou, who started at Torquay, clearly didn't pay much attention in his geography classes at school because he was asking whether we were in the north of the country.

Another one who doesn't not pay much attention either, is young Jimmy Walker. Despite sitting next to Donny Barnard at the training he didn't have a clue who he was when he bumped into him on Saturday night.

Apparently he thought Donny was a Charlton fan because when our full-back asked him how it went at Torquay, he started going on about being on-loan at Orient.
