Leyton Orient have agreed a new two-year contract with captain Nathan Clarke.
The influential centre-back has been a consistent performer for the O's and helped lead them to the top of League 1 this season.
The former Huddersfield Town defender joined Orient in the summer of 2012 and his contract was due to expire this summer.
But manager Russell Slade has moved quickly to secure Clarke's future at Brisbane Road in a deal which will keep him at the club until 2016.
