KEVIN Nugent and Ezomo "Izzy" Iriekpen will be going all-out to get one over former club Orient on Tuesday night, when the east Londoners will head for Swansea looking to secure three valuable points against one of their main rivals in the push for the play-offs.

Veteran striker Nugent, who scored on his return to Brisbane Road in the Welsh club's 2-1 victory in October, says that rather than go for personal glory he just wants to secure the points in a match that could have a major bearing on both sides' play-off ambitions.

He said: "It will be a good game I'm sure, because while we have had a bit of indifferent form of late in the League, Orient are really flying at the moment.

"Martin had just taken over when we beat them earlier in the season, but as I said at the time I knew that he and Ian Culverhouse would do a good job. With the players they had at the club I always knew that they would become a formidable force.

"But after a decent FA Cup run we are now fully focused on the League now, and with Orient in a similar position to us in terms of points and trying to get into those play-off places, it will be a really big game for both clubs.

"It doesn't mean any more to me if I score against my old club, because the most important thing is that we come away from the game with the three points.

"But there have been a few changes in the team in the last few games so I will have to keep my fingers crossed that I play, because I would love to be in the side that faces them as I have so many good memories of my two spells at Orient and when I am down in London I still pop-in to see a few people at the club."

And while he might not have as many acquaintances as Nugent from his brief loan spell at Brisbane Road last season, ex-West Ham defender Ireikpen is certainly looking forward to the challenge of facing former Hammers teammate Gary Alexander.

He said: "I am not sure who is still left from my time at Orient, although I do still keep in contact with Simon Downer and I have seen Gary Alexander has been scoring a lot of goals lately.

"I always like playing against him because we came up through the youth team at West Ham together and I'm sure it will be a real battle for me to keep him quiet because he is a very good player.

"It was a good game when we had them at Brisbane Road earlier in the season and obviously it was a very good result for us one which I hope we can repeat when we play them again this time."
