Andy Frampton faces three weeks out of action with an ankle injury.
But Charlie Daniels is likely to return from a hamstring strain for Orient, this weekend.
The good news about Daniels is tonic for the sting of on-loan Frampton’s exit.
The Millwall man hobbled off just 45 minutes into his debut against Huddersfield Town, last Saturday.
A question mark must now hang over whether Frampton will play again for the O’s before the end of his month-long loan deal.
The left-back position at Orient seems to be cursed this season, boss Russell Slade has said.
Daniels is the regular starter there, but he has suffered an injury-plagued start to the campaign.
Frampton has been recruited to replace another loanee, Michael Liddle of Premier League Sunderland.
His loan spell was ended by a groin injury which flared up after the opening day defeat to Yeovil Town, last month.
