THE last time these two sides met Sheffield Wednesday were 4-1 victors over Leyton Orient in the League Cup, way back in 1991.

After being separated by several divisions in recent memory, the two teams come together at Hillsborough for a League One clash, with Orient desperately looking to extend their three-game unbeaten run to help them climb out of the drop zone.

Wednesday are not where they would like to be, either, sitting in mid-table after relegation from the Championship last season.

However, they are just two points off fourth in what is turning out to be a keenly-contested division.

Striker Marcus Tudgay will be one for the Orient defence to watch. He will be sure to take advantage of the type of lapses from Ben Chorley and Terrell Forbes that characterised Saturday’s game at Oldham.

Tudgay’s strike partner, ex-Crystal Palace hitman and Ireland international Clinton Morrison, will also be a threat.
