Superb bowling display from Zabehulah Mohammad saw Walthamstow beat Newham by four wickets.
Choosing to bowl first paid off for Walthamstow as Mohammad took seven for 24 in just nine overs. The devastating spell saw Newham skittled for 70, which Walthamstow achieved with ease.
Zisan Abedian top-scored with the bat, hitting 24 not out.
The win moves Walthamstow into third, three points behind second-placed Barking, before a trip to Ford on Saturday.
Division One
Walthamstow Seconds were narrowly beaten by second-placed Tennyson in a low-scoring contest.
The Seconds batted first but were dismissed for a modest 114.
A brave bowling display nearly salvaged the game for Walthamstow as Faheem Hasan took four for 16.
But Tennyson batted it out and reached their total with two wickets to spare.
The Seconds host Ford Seconds on Saturday.
