THIS was a game that Ramgharia needed to win to maintain the pressure on the leaders, but despite dominating the early exchanges they could not score.

Chance after chance came and went, with the Rams unable to get the ball into the goal, before Clacton, from only their second short corner, worked a simple routine well to take the lead.

A few minutes later they made it 2-0, again from a corner.

Ramgharia must have had about 20 short corners over the course of the game, but although every one was on target the Clacton keeper was in fine form to save them all.

Rahim Khan scored a consolation goal for the hosts late on.

Ramgharia entertain Waltham Forest this weekend.
