Crostyx ladies will be playing hockey in Division 1 South next season after sealing promotion from Divisison 2SE with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Blueharts.
Blueharts started the match second in the table and still with a chance of overtaking their rivals but the contest was a one-sided affair.
Crostyx had the game as good as won within 20 minutes as Carrie Curtis scored both goals to put the home team in command.
The final score could have been more emphatic had it not been for the Blueharts keeper who made a handful of excellent stops.
The ladies will be delighted to bounce back into Division 1 South after two seasons in the league below.
Their final game of the season is against Colchester on Saturday where five more goals will see Crostyx surpass 100 goals scored this season.
In contrast Crostyx men have struggled in East Premier B and their miserable campaign continued with an 11-0 loss at Letchworth on Saturday.
The men are already relegated and will be playing in Division 1 next season.
