Premier Division
Jolof Sports Club cut May & Baker EC A’s lead to five points with a narrow 1-0 victory over Melbourne Sports on Saturday.
With May & Baker not in action, Jolof moved onto 16 points, but the league leaders still have breathing space at the summit.
Michael Mignot hit a hat-trick as Chingford Athletic claimed a 5-1 victory at St Francis.
Tom Pearce and Tobias Hayden also weighed in as the fourth-place side put a two-point buffer between themselves and Newham Reserves.
Goals from Daniel Denton (2) and Benjamin Stone were not enough for Chingford Harriers, who were edged out 4-3 at home to Cranes United.
Poku Omosu and John Mensah were among the goals as Eastside Rangers (London Community) played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Rainham Working Men’s Club.
Chingford Town cruised to a 2-0 victory at AAH Romford.
Division One
Northend overcame Vittoriosa Falcons 2-0 in the division’s only fixture.
Christopher Hubble and Daniel Cameron were the scorers for the visitors, who leap into fifth place in the table.
Division Two
Grove United drew 2-2 at West Essex Reserves thanks to goals from Tom Blackmur and Dan Spinks.
Damien Williams’ strike was not enough to prevent Newham Royals slipping to a 2-1 defeat against St Francis Reserves.
Top-of-the-table Leyton Green were victorious once again, as they swatted aside Northend Reserves with a comfortable 5-0 victory.
League Cup Second Round
Singh Sabha Barking needed penalty kicks to get past Newham Reserves, eventually triumphing 4-1 from the spot following a 1-1 draw after extra time.
Jordan Aaron Hamilton netted for Barking.
Dagenham United knocked out Chingford Town Reserves 3-2, with the goals coming from Francis Mireku, Jonnell Bampo and Joe Price.
Division Two Cup First Round
Cowley Community reached round two by beating Custom House 3-1 with minimal fuss. Conor Harrington, Izynna Ogedi-uzokwe and Alex Wedgbury scored the Cowley goals, whilst Paul Wooster hit back for Custom House.
Division One Cup First Round
London Bari Reserves edged Three Colts 5-4 on penalties after a dramatic 4-4 draw at the end of extra time.
Romeo Lopez (2), Jonathan Atkinds and Jonatan Diallo Mosibe were the London Bari scorers, whilst Joe Collins, Fabian Donovan and David Watson struck in reply for Three Colts.
