Essex Sunday Corinthian Football League

Premier Division

Champions Greengate were humbled by runners-up Warren United, who ran out 6-2 winners away from home.

The result was ultimately inconsequential but a hat-trick from James Peagram was added to by Thomas Metcalfe (2) and Bradley Harmer.

In third, EMWA cruised to a 5-1 away win at Elm Park Eagles.

Jermaine Dowe and Ryan Reid each helped themselves to doubles, whilst Kacey Adam wrapped up the scoring.

Morfdown Elect are relegated after drawing 3-3 with mid-table Woodbridge.

Goals from Lee Beardsell, Carl Hatt and Ricky Abel Barwick were not enough to prevent Morfdown heading down.

Division One

Ainslie Wood brushed aside May & Baker Club 5-1 and know their title destiny is in their own hands.

Third-placed Aldborough Hatch have one match left and can still catch the current leaders, who themselves have two to play with a two-point lead.

Eric Kelly ran in a hat-trick, whilst Jonathan Carter and Ricky Lee Speed were also on target. Paul David Scott replied for M & B.
