Waltham Abbey succumbed to their third Isthmian Division One North defeat in a row as they went down 2-1 at home to Maldon & Tiptree on Tuesday evening.
Darren McQueen put the Jammers ahead after 12 minutes but Jack West equalised almost immediately.
Darren Mills struck just before the half-hour mark to win it.
Two goals a minute apart proved Abbey’s undoing on Saturday as they lost 2-0 to Phoenix Sports.
Alistair Gordon and Adrian Stone were the scorers.
The Abbotts, two points from safety, visit Thamesmead Town on Saturday.
