Schoolboy and East London Boxing Academy's Jibreel Sheikh became the London Champion at the weekend after winning two fights at the championships in Feltham.
Sheikh remains unbeaten and now moves into the National Quarter-Finals to be held in Bristol on Saturday, May 11.
He competed over two consecutive days in the under 40kh division in order to be crowned champion.
Sheikh first came up against unbeaten Albert Corpe from Five Star Amateur Boxing Club in Hornchurch and took the fight to his opponent brilliantly, winning all three rounds to come out on top in the battle of the undefeated prodigies.
The following day, Sheikh came up against Malai Craig from Smallholding Boxing Club, Morden and, riding high from his previous win, he was awarded the fight by TKO when the referee stopped the contest.
The club now have a champion boxer in all of the championships in what has been an excellent season from the schoolboys to the seniors, and Sheikh could now get the opportunity to go on and box for the country in he secures the national title.
