East London Runners’ Thomas Burrard-Lucas completed the Sevilla Half Marathon in Spain on Sunday.

Burrard-Lucas, racing in his first proper half-marathon, recorded a personal best time of 1:28.10.

Also competing in half-marathons were Paul Quinton and Manjit Bedi who are at the event in Victoria Park, and they recorded times of 1:20.05 and 1:28.13 respectively.

At the same race, Katherine Harris got a time of 1:55.43 and came 435th while Adam Stanley came 525th with a time of 2:01.11.

At the Victoria Park 10km, Spencer Evans came 16th and Jamie Xavier was 83rd with respective times of 38.33 and 44.56, while Kasia Stachowiak timed 46.10 and John Healey posted 52.20.

Meanwhile, Jagbir Bassi came 12th overall and completed 30 laps at the Sikhs in the City Dawn to Dusk event, recording a time of 6:35.34.

Meanwhile, Peter Hatley was a place behind and completed 28 laps in 6:06.27 and Jacob Stevens was 26th, completed 25 laps and recorded a time of 4:59.51.

In the marathon race of the same event, Patrick Brown placed first overall with a time of 2:59.43, while Richard Kimmens posted 3:33.31 and came fourth overall.

Jimmy Dale was three places behind in seventh with a time of 3:53.40 before a slight gap then saw Maud Hodson cross in 17th (fourth lady) in 4:14.53.

Selina Vernal’s time came in at 4.52.21 while Fiona Day came 39th overall with a time of 5:20.53.

Lastly, in the half marathon race, Sarah Burns was the fourth lady and 15th overall in a time of 2:03.19 and Jakub Czeczotka followed shortly behind in 2:07.23.

Janet Bywater was in close company, finishing 18th in a time of 2:08.25 and Michael Wilson was the next across in 2:12.07, followed by Veronica Carrasco in 21st (2:12.49, Caroline Moore in 30th (2:2504), Alice Barrett in 42nd (2:45.34).
