East London Runners were well represented at the Roding Valley Half Marathon on Sunday, with 14 athletes taking part in the event.

Thomas Burrard-Lucas was the first of ELR’s contingent to finish, recording a time of 1:30.21 and coming 20th overall, while Jimmy Dale was a place behind in 21st, timing 1:30.45.

Neil Gage was next to finish in a time of 1:36.39 which earned him 39th place and he was followed by Michael Bamford (1:39.40, 50th), James Creed (1:42.53, 58th) and Lydia Merrett (1:49.31, 94th).

David Hallybone came just inside the first 100 finishers, coming 99th with a time of 1:49.31, and he was followed by Roger Stubbs (1:52.16, 108th), Janet Bywater (1:53.36, 120th) and Sandra Preston (1:59.23, 145th).

Lastly, Kathryn Hertzberg came in with a time of 2:04,06 which secured 160th place, Lauren Stevenson was 183rd with 2:09.42, and Caroline Moore and Juliet Lopez-Real were 189th and 217th with respective times of 2:12.14 and 2:22.19.

Also in a local event, Tom Marshall finished second at the Run London Epping Forest Trail 10km event with a time of 38.23.

Behind him was Grace Turner, who placed 54th with a time of 56.23, and she was followed by Kathy Morrissey (1:02.59, 71st), Claire Drakeford (1:03.42, 74th) and Victoria Charlesworth (1:03.42, 75th).

In the same event’s 5km race, Susan Bushell came 22nd overall and was first in the female over-60 category, timing 36.44.

Jason Levy and Samir Yousni took part in the March Madness Duathlon on Sunday. Levy came 83rd overall in a time of 1:03.44 and Yousni placed 89th in 1L10.27.

At the Hillingdon 20m, Stuart Kelly was the first of the ELR participants to finish, coming 17th in a time of 2:06.55.

He was followed by Scott McMillan (2:15.32, 41st), Karan Gadhia (2:38.27, 152nd) and Emma Wing (3:44.24, 375th).

Further afield, Angela Morley took part in the Chester 10km and timed 57.13, which earned her 1851st place overall.

On Saturday, James Nichols received a time of 40.28 at the QEOP 10km, which earned him 13th, and finally, at the Victoria Park Half Marathon, Daniel Lee recorded a personal best time of 1:19.44 to finish 17th, Ava Lee came 53rd with a personal best of 1:25.23 and Tom Houwourth placed 65th in a time of 1:26.46.
