SENATIONAL rumours are spreading that Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira could be heading back to the north Londoners on a season-long loan deal.
The 32-year-old Frenchman became a Gunners legend during his nine years with the club and fans would certainly welcome the return of their former hero and skipper.
Tongues were set wagging on Saturday that the Inter Milan midfielder could be heading home after being spotted sitting alongside Mikael Silvestre at the Emirates during the Newcastle match.
It seems that the story could be pure speculation, although Arsenal fans are already dreaming about seeing the possible return of Arsene Wenger's first ever signing for Arsenal.
Wenger paid just £3.5million for the then unknown AC Milan in 1995, before selling him nine years later to Juventus for a reported £13.7million.
