TOTTENHAM have finally completed the signing of Manchester City defender Vedran Corluka for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old was finally allowed to leave Eastlands after the Blues signed South American duo Pablo Zabaleta and Glauber over the weekend.

City boss Mark Hughes had originally attempted to hang onto the former Dynamo Zagreb full-back, but he appeared keen to link up with his Croatian team-mate Luka Modric at White Hart Lane.

Talking to Tottenham's official website, Corluka said: "I am delighted to be here because I am coming to a big club with great players, great ambition and also my best friend [Luka Modric] is here so it is a very happy day for me."
