ONE of Arsenal's major power brokers Danny Fiszman claims that manager Arsene Wenger's “head is on the block” after three trophyless seasons.

While the Gunners second largest share-holder has stated that he is fully behind the Frenchman, he has stated that Wenger isn't bulletproof at the Emirates Stadium. "We believe in him but it's his head on the block in the end," the Arsenal director told the News of the World.

But in a show of support to Wenger, Fiszman was quick to back the managers decission to dispose of the services of Mathieu Flamini and Alexander Hleb this season.

He added: "People talk just because Flamini left. He had one great year. One. Before then, he was just a squad player.

"And while Alex was a lovely player at holding the ball, there was no end-product. We have swapped him for Nasri, who already has two goals."
