Connaught Bowls Club men's championship was won by J Gray in a thrilling contest with T Mould, the former prevailing 21-20. The ladies' competition was won by C Tredgett, who defeated J Perryman.
Mould made amends to win the Shadforth event, while D Hefford won the junior title. M Kirrage was victorious in the Helson, P Platten won the handicap, while J Gray won the veterans event. Hefford and N Harvey won the pairs.
On the ladies' side, J Townsend was the junior champion, S Bloomfield won both the handicap and the Fixed Jack, while M Avery and J Perryman won the pairs.
The mixed pairs title went to P Watson and T Mould, while Janet Carrington won the Gunn Trophy, and D Whitehouse, E Clarke and T Mould triumphed in the triples.
