Epping Upper Clapton Ladies picked up their first win as a team as they overcame Dartford Valley Roses 15-0.
Donna McDonald took advantage of a penalty and took a quick tap before racing in from 30 metres for Clapton’s first score of the game.
Clapton became far more controlled after that and McDonald managed to cross for her second try of the afternoon before the break.
Dartford improved after the interval but a late try from Sophie Hurley wrapped up the points for them.
Next up for the side is a home match against Aylesford Bulls, this Sunday at 2pm.
