West Ham United have made a £1.8 million bid for 25-year-old Sporting Gijon midfielder Oscar Trejo, according to reports in Spain.
Sam Allardyce is understood to be looking to add to his squad ahead of the new season and has reportedly tabled a cash plus add-ons deal for the Argentinean.
Interest in Trejo is high with French side Toulouse and Olympiakos also interested in the former Mallorca man.
Trejo is believed to favour a move to England but Sporting are holding out for at least £2.5 million.
