West Ham United are planning a January move for Chelsea forward Demba Ba.
The Irons are desparate to add to their attack with Andy Carroll injured and Carlton Cole not 100 per cent fit.
Ba is the Blues' third choice striker but he made an impressive cameo against Southampton yesterday.
According to The Mirror, Hammers' co-owner David Sullivan made a personal appeal to the 28-year-old to return to the club in the summer but it is believed Ba wants to join a team in the Champions League.
