West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce admitted his side lost their composure after conceding a late equaliser in the 1-1 FA Cup draw at Everton.
The Hammers were on course for a place in the fourth round through James Collins' header but Romelu Lukaku's effort forced a replay next week.
Speaking to the club website, Allardyce said: "We did think we were there. When you get so close and get to injury time, all you have to do is make sure you keep your composure, I think we lost a little bit of it just at that final minute.
"There was a bit of luck in it getting through so many bodies to Lukaku, but we should have done better before that and made sure we didn't get into that position.
"It's a great shame after such a good performance and being 1-0 up but we'll have to try and finish the job at Upton Park now."
