West Ham United's appeal against goalkeeper Adrian's red card has been unsuccessful and the Spaniard will miss the Hammers' next three Premier League games.
The former Real Betis stopper was sent off for serious foul play after a high boot on Jamie Vardy in Saturday's 2-1 home defeat against Leicester City.
West Ham chose to appeal the decision of referee Anthony Taylor but the red card has been upheld and now Adrian will miss games against Bournemouth, Liverpool and Newcastle United.
The goalkeeper's appeal against wrongful dismissal was held today but the Football Association's Independent Regulatory Commission found against the player.
