WEST HAM'S Jonathan Spector has been linked with a deadline day move to Championship side Nottingham Forest.
The versatile American has been out for four months with a hip problem but is expected to return to Chadwell Heath next month to start training following surgery.
Spector - who can play across the backline or as a defensive midfielder - made 13 starts and 15 more substitute appearances for the east Londoners last season and proved a useful asset in the wake of an injury crisis at Upton Park.
But, when everyone is fit, the 22-year-old is down the pecking order at the Boleyn Ground.
If there is any foundation in the rumour, then a loan deal to the City Ground would appear to be most likely.
