ROBERTO Mancini has been all-but ruled out of the running for the vacant West Ham manager post.

Reports have suggested that the 43-year-old - sacked by Inter Milan at the end of last season - is due to fly into London for an interview with the Hammers tomorrow.

However Mancini's agent, Giorgio De Giorgis, claims that the Italian will not be talking to anybody until he has sorted a compensation package with the Serie A club.

"Until his contract situation is resolved with Inter, Roberto Mancini won't talk to other clubs: that's the way he is," said De Giorgis.

Harry Redknapp, Slaven Bilic and Stuart Pearce have all ruled themselves out of the running for the position - but the Hammers are not short of suitors.

They are believed to have already interviewed John Collins and former Italy coach Roberto Donadoni about taking over the roll, and are also expected to meet with former Chelsea star Gianfranco Zola this weekend.

The club hope to make an announcement on who will succeed Alan Curbishley by the end of next week.
