A YOUNG West Ham fanatic is to trek to Upton Park in aid of cancer research.
Eight-year-old Jonjo Heuerman’s favourite player is Bobby Moore and the youngster wants to donate £10,000 to the fund named after him.
The youngster’s grandmother recently died from bowel cancer, which also claimed the life of World Cup winner Moore.
“My daddy and me are both West Ham United season ticket holders and our all-time hero is Bobby Moore,” said Jonjo.
“I am going to need a lot of support along the route to West Ham’s ground because it is a long way for an eight-year-old to walk.”
The 23-mile long trek from Wembley Stadium will take place between February 24-26, next year.
