Two teenagers were stabbed and have subsequently been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Police were called at around 8.45pm on Saturday (January 27) to reports of a stabbing on High Road in Leyton.

Officers attended and found a man, 18, with stab injuries on Littleton Road.

He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service and later arrested on suspicion of causing GBH and affray.

A 17-year-old was also taken to hospital with stab wounds, police said.

He has also been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH and affray.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that enquiries continue.
